As Seen on "Road Madness" these cameras are an effective and reliable method where you simply "set it and forget it" - because the day you'll need to rely on the information - it's going to be there to review.

Camera constantly records driving data and will SAVE an EVENT file that is generated either by the vehicle exceeding user determined G Force parameters (U Set it via a PC Interface) or by the Driver pressing the Emergency Alert Button. These Saved file records 10 seconds prior and 10 seconds after an event providing a powerful and accurate record.

The DRS-1100 records Sound and Video along with speed, date, time and the GPS location on the google earth overlay mapping software. The 2GB SD card provided will record up to 2 hours of continuous video and overwrites "normal" data once the card is full. Emergency or G Force data is not overwritten and can only be reviewed by downloading to a PC and only then can data be erased. The SD card comes with software and is preloaded to install the X-Drive OS to you PC along with an interface to "fine tune" your camera to suit your vehicle. The G Force measures a variable degree of acceleration and braking, sharp left to right movements and violent up and down movements.  

The package includes cables, mounting connectors, a windscreen camera mount kit, 2Gb SD card (will accept up to 16Gb maximum), quick operating guide all with additional Help and onscreen X-Driven  instructions. Power supply is via a 12v socket adapter although the camera may be hardwired into the vehicle accessory circuit (professional installation required).

In the event you are involved in an accident - X-Driven will automatically record and save hours of wasted time sorting out the "Blame claim". If you encounter dangerous driving - simply press the Emergency Alert - then you have all the evidence you need to enable the Police to prosecute and that makes our roads safer.
