Digital Glass break sensor especially designed to detect breaking glass NOT impact.

Description

Built-in amplifiers filter noises inside the cabin of your vehicle. When the high frequencies associated with breaking glass are detected, a trigger signal is sent to the alarm system.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Aftermarket Film tinting will change the frequency response normally detected by the Glassbreak sensor and affect the perfomance of the device. If you have film tinting applied PLEASE get your sensor adjusted to compensate for this. 

 

Operation
  
Active Microwave Protection Field: 

Built-in electric microphone picks up all sound from inside the vehicle, filtering everything except the high frequencies associated with smashing glass. Triggers if the noise exceeds the set level.
Adjustable sensitivity:
 Allows installer/user to adjust the sensor independently
Temperature compensated circuitry: Ensures sensitivity does not change as ambient temperature rises or falls. 
Plug and play for service: Designed to allow easy access for service technicians. Plugs and sockets are located inside the main control module to protect against access by thieves.
Visual Output  
Trigger status indicator: LED indicator shows when sensor is triggered.
Compatability  
Compataible with: DYNATRON alarm control systems only.
Specifications  
Super low current draw: 1.3mA when idle, 11mA when triggered for 2 seconds.
Wide Operating voltage: Operating voltage +9VDC to +15VDC.
Operating temperature: -20 degrees to +85 degrees for equipment designed to be installed within vehicle cabin. 
No back EMF protection:  If fitted to any other alarm than Dynatron on the trigger output, installer must add external protection.
No reverse polarity protection:

This sensor was designed to be used exclusively with the D3000, D4000 and D7000 series of Dynatron modules which provide reverse polarity protection. Installer must add protection if install in non-conventional way.
